you can use a mask (of the glass). tween the mask so it reveals more and more liquid in the glass as the liquid is being poured.
That's cool, but how do i make that effect of the liquid flowing from side to side of the glass?
It can be seen if you look closely and the clip.
I'm trying to do it one keyframe at time but i think there are easier ways.
I got it as i sent the message. I can make a movie of the mask and change its shape as it's tweened up.

you'll have to do that with frame-by-frame and/or timeline tweening.
I solved it with 3 masks of the glass (each with its section of liquid).
Then was just a matter of shape tweening.
