If you migrate your photos from Photoshop.com, then the links to Photoshop.com will automatically redirect to your new Revel account.
I hope that provides some relief!
Pattie, yes, I am relieved. Thanks.
I may have misunderstood what you were saying, so I think I should clarify-
The links to the photos in Photoshop.com will now be redirected to your Revel account so that users you have shared photos with will still be able to see them.
However, if you are asking if your top-level personal URL will continue to work, (For example, if you have something like this on your business cards: http://yourname.photoshop.com that goes to a public gallery of albums) that will not redirect to adoberevel.com .
I am sorry for the confusion, I hope this helps to clarify.
Well, yea, it clarifies but that really sucks. Does Adobe realize how many
users they have inconvenienced and irritated with this move? Also,
recognizing only the jpeg file format doesn't make sense either
particularly when most serious photographers save in less destructive
formats. I'm not happy!
I understand, and I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. We realize that currently, Revel does not have all of the features previously offered on Photoshop. com. We are working hard to collect input and upgrade the program to meet your needs.
As you know, right now the complete Full featured Revel app is only for Mac, Iphone, and Ipad. You can upload and download on a browser currently, but we have plans to release Revel for Windows & Android devices in the future.
While Revel offers some of the top features from Photoshop.com, it doesn't offer everything, and we understand that that can be frustrating. We will expand onto new platforms, devices, and file formats in the future. Please give us your input so we know what you want from Revel.
