Im in latest CS6 under windows 7, I'm taking a basic SD 720x480 sequence and rendering it out as quicktime, ntscdv preset, then choose H.264 as the codec, max quality and the resulting file plays back only audio and no video in QT, MPC, VLC and premiere. I updated to the latest QT version and nothing changed. Can anyone else reproduce this?
I know I could do a screenshot of the settings but it really is just quicktime/ntsc dv/h.264/max quality slider/max render quality checkbox
Why use QuiRcktime on a Windows machine? Avoid that like the plague.
I agree wholeheartedly 100% !
However when Brighthouse cable broadcasters require you give them a commercial as a quicktime movie there is nothing you can do.
I love how when you search for this issue the main result is "borrow a mac to render it out as prores..."
quicktime/ntsc dv/h.264/max quality slider/max render quality checkbox
Works fine here... Pr 6.0.3 / QT 7.7.3.
