Thanks for your help. I have a sony vaio laptop, windows 7, 64bit, corei5,
enough memory BUT a Radeon graphics card in stead of a nVidia. Could this
be the cause of the problem?

That means you go to the AMD/ATI web site and find a driver update for your EXACT brand/model card
