if you want flash to install in english, change (temporarily) your os language to english.
change your os language back to swedish.
My OS is in English, language, keyboard, everything. It's just the installer I got doesn't come with any other language than Swedish it seems. Got it from the place I study. They seem to have only bought a Swedish version. In my opinion all programs, especially one like this should have language options, but I'm 100% sure there is no way to select language when installing.
Edit, oh wait. The computer (the study computer) is set to Swedish (so the noobs here I work with understand stuff). I wanted to install this program on my own computer and never tried as I couldn't change the language the first time (on the study computer). So, if you are right, on my computer I can get English language. Hope so
Sure, I could change the language on the study computer, install, then back, like you mentioned, but the program is for my own computer so no need to.
Thanks in advance.
if you have an installation serial number, you could try downloading the english version trial and activating with your serial number.
Yup, got the serial and thought about downloading the English version, but thought this serial is only for the Swedish version as usually different versions (even if it's just language) has different serials.
i'm not sure about that.
you have nothing to lose by trying though. if the serial number is not accepted, the english version won't install.
first, uninstall the swedish version, then run the cleaner (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html), then try installing the english version.
if the english version fails to install with that serial, reinstall the swedish version.
We'll see.. I first need to make a backup of my AIR folder in the Flash directory as I have it all set up and functioning to make my iOS apps with extensions and stuff, bat scrips... then backup my layout profile in flash as I don't use the default ones...
Will first try to install CS6 without installing CS5.5.... but need to wait till tomorrow...
under no circumstance (of which i am aware) would cs5.5 need to be installed before cs6.
Of course not , and that's not what I meant or said. I just said that before I install CS6 I want to backup stuff I have in the CS5.5 folder and not just uninstall CS5.5 first before installing CS6. But as a first try, I'll just install CS6 without uninstalling CS5.5, so if CS6 doesn't work, I don't have to reinstall CS5.5.
