Why does flash player not work after downloading several times?

What OS and browser are you using?  Assuming Windows, please try installing from the appropriate stand alone Windows installers located here:

I have tried everything to download unistall and reinstall and I can't seem to get this to work, I have windows 7 premium,this is so frustrating, also have norton 360 anti virus scanner

What error messages are you seeing (if any?)  Can you please describe what you are seeing?  How did the stand alone installers work version the one you downloaded from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer?
