I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions 2.0. I am trying to read an e-book. The book is a .epub The Digital Editions guide said that it works with accessibility software. My accessibility software is NVDA 2012.1 When I try to read the e-book, NVDA only says, "Book Content". What am I doing wrong?

I'm guessing, but you may need to do a page turn (or several) before ADE gets as far as the page of the book with real content.
If appropriate for you, use the cursor keys to do page turns; or there may be some other way via accessability.
Good Luck, Stephen Todd

Thank you for your reply. I have paged through an 8-page document, up and down, and deeply into a 248-page book using PageUp, PageDown, arrow keys, Ctrl-Home, Ctrl-End. NVDA reads everything else on the screen, eg, the menu, the TOC, but in the area of the actual text of the book, it only says "Book Content Document".

I installed the newest stable verion of NVDA - 2012.3.1 - and still ket the same symptoms. Is there an NVDA forum like this one? I've been looking for one.
Thanks,
Steve
