Standalone recorder needed

Hi,

What I could use TODAY is a standalone recorder component of Captivate. My job is to build demos. I have Captivate installed on my laptop but many times, the systems I want to record are not reachable from the laptop. What would be really nice is to have a standalone recorder that ONLY recorded to a .CP file. Then I could copy the .CP file to my laptop for editing.

Any thoughts on something like this? Today, I have to install the 30day version and hope that on the 31st day I don' t have to go back for some updates to the demo.

I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately, while discussing it here in the forums might make you feel a bit better, it will do no good whatsoever until it reaches the eyes of the development staff in sufficient numbers.
