videos stopped working

Music and video stoped last week on my computer.  I tried to update Flash player but it stops at the 4th where it asked if you want to allow changes??

Could you try restarting your system, then please try installing from the appropriate stand alone Windows installers located here:

Just tried that and it said it wont let me because it is not the newest version of flash player.  and then kicks me to the newer version that otheres are having problems with.
