How do I make InDesign repeat my XML structure when overriding Master pages?

    Josh At

Hi, I have an InDesign document that I've created with a master page that is tagged in to an XML structure.

The root is named 'book' and then each page is an element called 'page', pretty straight forward, I think, so far...

I create all my elements and tag them up, but when I create 10 pages, apply the master to them and override the master, I get all the information under 'page' repeated 10 times, instead of 10 'page's with all the respective tags repeated inside each 'page' tag.

What I don't want (but keeps happening):

      book

      • page
        • stuff1
        • stuff2
        • stuff3
        • stuff1
        • stuff2
        • stuff3
        • etc...

What I want (but can't seem to obtain):

      book

      • page
        • stuff1
        • stuff2
        • stuff3
      • page
        • stuff1
        • stuff2
        • stuff3
      • etc...
