What is your operating system & version?
What is your web browser?
What exactly means "not working"?
This sounds like the same problem I'm experiencing.
For your refference
OP Win 7
Flash Player block because out of date.
I'm on a PC, WIndows 7 (brand new computer), I generally use IE but have tried other programs. I'm still having problems with Mozilla and Google Chrome.
My problem is that I'm trying to use YouSendIt.com to send photos and files to my employer (out of state) and every time I log in it tells me that I need to update my Flash player (which I've done now 5+times--uninstalling and re-installing) --it never lets me get to the "load file" page. I'm trying to send photos/jpegs NOT videos, so why would that error message appear?
I've also had problems getting video and games in Yahoo today but I heard they shut down today and have issues so I try and use other browsers for certain circumstances. But when Mozilla or Google Chrome didn't work with YouSendIt today I realized its more than just the browser.
Does any of this make sense or do you need more info? I'm obviously not very technically proficient.
thanks for any help you can give me.
Hmm, works in Chrome only, not on IE or Firefox. Is that my fate?
I had some success with Chrome by updating the Chrome browser.
I dont know if this will work with Firefox, bu I guess its worth a try.
Chrome comes with Flash Player preinstalled.
For Internet Explorer you need to install the Flash Player ActiveX add-on, for Firefox you need to install the Flash Player plugin.
Have you installed both, and is it still not working?
For IE I have the Flash Player ActiveX add-on installed. My computer is new (Feb '13) and Adobe and Flash were installed. This has not been a problem for any other programs (for the past month) I've used until this week. I did adjust my Cookies a week ago to be able to approve them, but changed it back today to accept all cookies (thinking this might be the problem) but again I had success with YouSendIt yesterday a.m. and then later the same day it went back to not accepting Flash out of the blue. I only experienced it this week with the one program YouSendIt.com Otherwise this wouldn't be an issue but I need to use YouSendIt .com for work.
I don't generally use Firefox so I need to check. I usually use IE, have used Firefox for one game (Yahoo Soduko Daily I'm embarrassed to say) but have NEVER had this problem before.
I don't understand the inconsistencies. FLash has always worked on IE until yesterday. Yesterday it worked on games and videos and today it doesn't work. I do have Norton so that shouldn't be it, I don''t think .
