We have a form we created on our website. End users click on the link, the PDF downloads to their computer and then they fill it out. The form has sensitive data that has to be secured. When users click on submit the form is sent across the Internet and saved on Form Central servers. How is the PDF secured between the user and the Form Central server? The page they use to get the form is http, not https but it is my understanding that the form is temporarily stored on the users computer and then transmitted to Form Central servers so I don't think securing that page would help. I called tech support but they have never emailed me the documentation I requested. Also, how does Adobe securely store those documents? Can you provide a SAS-70 or SSAE-16? Thanks!
Adobe Reader submits the data to the FormsCentral servers using SSL (https). The data is encrypted in transist. The page its embedded in doesn't matter.
Thanks for the info. Is there a white paper or anything that documents the process?
