MADroomMAD Mar 19, 2013 8:07 AM (in response to fivemice)Same for me as above with Norton indicating the virus threat.
I also get a message during the install that the file does not have a valid signature.

MADroomMAD Mar 19, 2013 9:06 AM (in response to MADroomMAD)There were a couple of links in the right column that mentioned virus problems. After reading a bit, I solved my problem.
Go to Norton, select SETTINGS, then select COMPUTER SCAN, then set HEURISTIC PROTECTION to OFF. (It will still stay green.)
I then tried to re-install the Adobe Exchange Panel and everything is now working fine.

cam.vanausdal Mar 20, 2013 12:49 AM (in response to LuisMarín)I am also having the same problem. I have turned heuristic protection off and I was able to get it to install but it doesn't load anything once I open it in photoshop. The panel is just blank. Has anyone found a solution to this?

5. Re: Virus alert and problems with Adobe Exchange Panel latest update
MADroomMAD Mar 20, 2013 7:34 AM (in response to cam.vanausdal)You might want to make sure you are running PS with administrative rights. (Right click on the PS icon and you can tell it to run as administrator). Not sure if this will make any difference, but give it a shot.

7. Re: Virus alert and problems with Adobe Exchange Panel latest update
TheGoodBytes Mar 29, 2013 8:55 PM (in response to LuisMarín)I raised this issue with Symantec a couple days ago who have analysed the files and determined there is no risk. This detection has been removed from Symantec/Norton products with the last set of virus definitions.
