Harm Millaard Mar 15, 2013 4:58 AM (in response to Volodymyr Kashuba)You better get a nVidia card with 1 GB of VRAM or more and get rid of the Matrox. Both will help significantly with speeding things up. Matrox is notorious for its slow export.

Volodymyr Kashuba Mar 15, 2013 1:27 PM (in response to Harm Millaard)I am also using this videocard EVGA GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 2GB with this method of unlocking this videocard http://www.studio1productions.com/Articles/PremiereCS5-2.htm. Harm Millaard, do you think if I will get rid of the Matrox it would be better or fester export? I just never try it.

Harm Millaard Mar 15, 2013 1:54 PM (in response to Volodymyr Kashuba)In our PPBM5 Benchmark we have always seen much lesser performance with systems that have a Matrox card installed, especially on the export to disk. Often two times slower or more than without Matrox. Even then you will not reach the Edius speed, it is simply faster than Adobe.
