I am having issues getting flash player to work on my windows 8

I keep getting error messages from Flash Player on my Windows 8.  I tried to reinstall the newest version and am unable to get through.  I don't know if my Webroot is blocking it or what.  I went through all the troubleshoot directions and still nothing worked.

uninstall:  http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

then, reinstall:  http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
