Open .pdf from Flash projector app

    CPedrick
We have a Flash application that will be distributed on CD. I need to make a button that will open a .pdf file also residing on the CD.
Do I use fscommand to do that and, if so, can someone give me an example of the syntax?
      TIA,
      Carolyn

Don't think you can do this directly, as far as I know (correct me if I'm wrong anyone) you can use fscommand to launch applications but not specific files. I have done it in the past by launching an app written in Applescript that in turn opens a specific file, obviously this is mac specific but the same can be achieved on a windows machine using a .bat file (I think).

I would be more specific but it was ages that I did it and I can't find the project now.

as an after though, I think you have to store things in a folder called 'fscommand' that is within the same directory as your main app or the fscommand cant get at them
