1. Re: <br> Character in Templates
Alex Pavelescu Mar 18, 2013 6:29 AM (in response to Stephen Franklin)Hi Stephen,
So you're adding a new template from your partner portal but when trying to apply it to a newsletter campagin from the site admin, that <br> appears?
Just wanted to confirm because I didn't manage to replicate, so I would kindly ask you to provide the site URL and the campaign&template names so we can check.
Kind Regards,
Alex

Liam Dilley Jul 8, 2013 7:51 PM (in response to Stephen Franklin)I done that for you Alex.
I am not sure if it is the encoding change doing this in BC as it was messing up other things like custom text fields after they made a change but to be honest it is very hard to keep up with the editor and what it does and does not do.
Sometimes it has the right html output, then does breaks, then stops, then does it again. The 3rd party editor company's Version control is pretty shocking. Not BC's fault all the time.. But the editors html output has never been very good and it has always been very inconsistant.

Stephen Franklin Jul 8, 2013 7:58 PM (in response to Liam Dilley)Thanks Liam much appreciated.
Yeah I figured as much with the flakeness of the editor. It's not a deal breaker really, just mildly annoying.
Main thing is it makes it hard to implement more than just simple template designs that won't break on clients that are self managing their site.
