    Stroke Colour greyed out

    JunOrla

any tool i choose such as pencil, rectangle, oval etc, the stroke colour is greyed out and I cannot change. So eg: when using the pencil tool, I can draw a shape, but as soon as I let go of the mouse the drawing disappers.  I have an iMac and MacBook Pro, it is only happening on the iMac. Both are running 10.8.2. This is in Flash Professional CS6

I am a uni student trying to get an assignment done. Adobe support is practically non-existant. I have been on hold several times through out the day and cannot get thru to speak to anyone about this.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Make sure you don`t use the same stroke color as the stage. Make sure the layer you are drawing on is not locked.

Thanks for your response.  I actually uninstalled and reinstalled flash and the stroke colour option came back. It worked fine for about an hour. Now when I use the drawing tools (such as pencil or rectangle etc). I can choose a stroke colour and stroke size, but when I take my finger off the mouse the colour changes to green and its a really thin line. aagggghhhhh its so BUGGY!!! or is it just me????? This product is not cheap and so far it has taken me 5 hours just to draw a simple walking stick man!!! And I still can't finish the animation.. I guess I'll lose marks tomorrow when I can't hand in my assignment..
