In most cases, I create the sequence from whatever codec makes up a lion's share of my clips. So, I would cancel the New Sequence dialog box, and then drag and drop a representative AVCHD clip on to the New Item icon to create the sequence and move forward from there.

Harm Millaard Mar 18, 2013 2:26 PM (in response to dnice423)Make a sequence that accommodates the majority of your footage. Say 70% is AVCHD, then create an AVCHD sequence by right clicking on an AVCHD clip in the project panel and choosing 'Create sequence from clip' and then later drag in the rest of your footage. PR takes care of the rest. That's all.

Chances are both are pretty much the same.
