In my Flex-application I have a screen with about 40
cartesian charts and datagrids. It takes a few seconds to render
this and even 20 seconds on an old laptop. Most time is spend
between the "initialize" and "creationComplete" events for this
screen. During this period I would like to show some kind of
progress bar or a sandhour to notify the user the computer is busy
processing the request.
I found some examples for a progress bar when dowloading or
uploading files, but this seems not to fit my case. Anybody?
you can use progress bar with indeterminate property set to
true this will turn progress bar into constantly moving appearance
, that means it will not depend on some bytes loaded value etc ...
you just have to show it and hide ti when you need to .
