Actually, they wouldn't even have to do that much. All you really would need is some kind deal for a swatch to be exported to, dunno, pdf or png? You can take anything that's flat enough to scan to Sherwin-Williams, Ace Hardware maybe does it too, and get paint matched to whatever you want. Really the biggest problem would be for people that don't understand how to use color profiles, getting an inkjet print to match screen.

Adobe can put our themes on the small computers that are in the painting dept. of Home Depot or Lowe's Where people can search out design from a touch screen.
And the design they choose and be random place on a room 3D image until they get the right color. Just one problem though, Someone needs to invent a paint mixer that mixes based on Color codes or Hexes.
