I am using CF 7 and when I display pie charts on a web page,
and attempt to print them, if I don't hit Print within 2 seconds of
the results graphs coming up on the screen, I get the following
message on the print outs:
Image expired. Please refresh the page to view the image.
Is there anyway to extend the length of time before it times
The cfchart engine is somewhat of a pain in the neck to work
with, particularly if you're on a shared host. What I've done is
implemented a little logic that actually writes the chart the first
time using a cfsavecontent call then displays the actual chart to
the user with options to save it, email it, etc. If they don't want
it my cache simply expires and it goes away. Ridiculously simple,
actually. But it sidesteps the whole problem of trying to capture
the files and handling them directly from the cfcharting engine.
