    font change

      Good morning

      I introduced a font change to "Places I'd like to visit" in <h1 style> to Arial. Dreamweaver shows the change. But there is no change to Arial when I preview in Chrome, Safari, IE or Firefox.

      Any solutions?

      I do not want to create a separate CSS file at this stage. I would like to know why the colour and font size work but the font itself does not when previewed in a browser.

      Dreamweaver shows "Places I'd like to visit" in Arial but the web browsers don't.

      Please see the attached dreamweaver and chrome screenshots.

      The code for "Places I'd like to visit" is very simple:

      <h1 style="font: Arial; color: rgb(255,0,0); font-size: 25pt;">Places I'd like to visit</h1>

          The font attribute is for grouping multiple font attributes into a single rule.

          Use either use the specific font-family attribute

          <h1 style="font-family: Arial sans-serif;

          <h1 style="font: Arial sans-serif 40px; color: rgb(255,0,0);">

          Avoid pt for fonts on the web. pt is a print metric.
