    Rasterize and post a copy of the current view?

      Hello -

      I'm using the following code to create a "paint" type Flash application for the web. The end result is that users will be able to "sign" their name and submit it to the back end. I found this code on an example site on the web:

      createEmptyMovieClip("Line",1);
      Line.lineStyle(1,0x000000,100);

      onMouseDown = function () {
      Line.moveTo(_xmouse, _ymouse);
      onMouseMove = function () {
      Line.lineTo(_xmouse, _ymouse);
      }
      }

      onMouseUp=function() {
      onMouseMove=null;
      }

      Does anyone have any insight as to how I would capture the current view (that is, when they're done writing or scribbling in the box) and submit it in some fashion via a standard post method when they click a "Submit" button within the app? Or even better, is there a way to trigger this event in the Flash when they submit the HTML form that this is located within?

      Sorry if I'm vague, but I'm new to actionscript!

      Thanks,

      Ian
