    Preparing messy html for CQ

    GinaFred

We have some very messy html docs that include lots of "garbage" code (users pasting directly from Word, etc.).  Also, some groups used graphics - literally graphics of what should be headers - instead of h1, h2, h3, etc.  I am advocating cleaning up and using css to handle formatting until we make the switch, while others advocate using their graphics and assuming that clean up can be accomplished later.  Any guidance or recommendations that you can offer would be very much appreciated.  Thanks!

          Your approach:

          1. Cleaning up
          2. Implementing cleaned HTML into CQ templates and components

          The other approach:

          1. Implementing current HTML into CQ templates and components
          2. Cleaning up
          3. Implement cleaned HTML into CQ templates and components.

Which one requires more effort? :-) I would favor your approach.
