Can't install Adobe Flash Player 11.6.602.180

I have Windows 7; 64 bit and the adobe falsh player only installs 50 % before saying to cloase all IE windows - but they are already closed - install fails.  I can't uninstall either even when I download the uninstaller and I try to manually delete the files - says I don't have admin rights or something

When I run MSI installers it gives me an error 1722 problem with Windows installer package...

Can anyone help me?

Download the offline installer(s) from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#main-pars_hea... and save it to disk, then close all browser windows (check with the Task Manager's Processes tab) and run the downloaded installer.
