Right click on the clips and choose Modify>Interpret Footage...
Make sure the frame rate is correct.
Still no luck, i've set it to 24fps (23.9760 to be exact) and i'm still getting the same problems. The original footage is in a higher pitch and doesn't jerk. When I put it in the timeline and allow it to render, it still jerks uncontrollably.
EDIT: I restarted my computer and created a new movie project. For the first 5minutes everything was fine and then it returned back to the jerkiness and lower pitched audio
Assuming your Premiere Pro version is up to date (check that), at this point I'm inclined to think something is wrong with your system. List out your hardware specs and any non-Adobe software you have installed?
