Try System Restore--go back to the last date Safari played the files successfully--you can always undo it.
There is no system restore for OS X. That only works in Windows.
Have you enabled plug-ins in Safari?
Could you please go through the last question of Mac section in the following URL:
Plug-Ins are installed
and keep in mindthis problem affects all 3 browsers i am using IE9, Safari5 & Firefox 19 NOT a SPECIFIC browser issuewhich is why i think it's either "Flash" (Adobe) or streaming web-site (Freedocast) issue.

Sunil, I have gone through that page previously and verified everything. In addition, I have quit Safari, used the Flash uninstaller. Afterwards, I have gone to Library/preferences and removed macromedia as well as /library/caches and remove adobe/flash. I then rebooted. REinstalled flash and still have the exact same problem. Anything with flash will give an error at the bottom of the page. If you right click on the flash it will say "movie not loaded" and then you can click about flash. Even the about flash link does not show the flash. In the Safari Activity, the FLV file will say The Network Connection Was Lost for any flash object on any website. This makes no sense. I have tried using an older version of safari and an older version of flash, same problem, exactly. I even tried the new beta of flash. Exactly the same problem. The only plugin I have is Ghostery which I have disabled and it had no effect. I am at a complete loss.
Never mind. Dumb dumb dumb. There was a firewall rule blocking flash. I do not know why it worked in Firefox but when I unchecked it, it fixed it.
