Installing flash player

I am trying to install the flash player. It downloads it in my downloads (I have it 4 times in there) but when I go to 'install' it asks for my password and then tells me it's the wrong password????? What is that? How do I find out what Adobe THINKS my password is?

I hope you are on a Mac machine.

You need to provide the password using which you log into your Mac machine.
