    Why radians for gradient rotation?

Can somebody explain to me the reason for having to use radians for the rotation of a gradient? That is a rather cumbersome conversion and not very intuitive...

Why not just use degrees that a human being can read when looking at the code?
Behind the scene it can be converted to whatever is required but make it easy for the programmer and code maintenance.

This issue has popped up for me when I am using the Matrix.createGradientBox method for a custom itemRenderer.

      Thanks
