Can you post a sample of the XML file?
Sure, see attached. To be precise, its not an xml file, but the output of a php script.
EDIT - I also tried adding an xml declaration, but it didn't do anything.
What about if you switch from an itemRenderer to using a labelFunction?
Or, if you set your HTTPService resultFormat to "e4x", you can use something similar to the following (note that when I switch to E4X, I need to use "@id" instead of "id" and the dataProvider changed slightly as I stripped out the "feedback" (root) node.
