I have a 2 column InDesign page, from which I want to create a manual.
Now I can align content to the middle of both pages, to the left ot right, but not middle, left and center to one of the pages.
See my image:
If you look at the right hand page, I want to align the text: information kinetics smack bang to the midddle of its containing page, and not the whole document.
Also, when aligning, it is not aligning the content itself, but rather the box it is in...and the content is not in the center of the box...so that is an issue as well
Center align the text in the frame (that's a paragraph attribute), then align the frame to the center of the page (or just make it the full width of the page). To align to the center of thepage you can drag and watch the smart guides, or selct the frame, open the Alignment panel, set the "align to" filed to page or margins, and click the algin the centers button.
thank you very much
