well the best documentation you can find is: http://jongware.mit.edu/idcs5/
For what are you looking for.. there is no event.
maby use the IdleTask.ON_IDLE to check if story.textFrames.length has change?
I'll have a look at the jongware site, I've found good stuff there for years.
Here's another one for the Forums, though:
Snooping through CS Scripting SDK, I run across this sample from AfterSelectionChanged.jsx sample,
... so I go into the OMV, and look at Document object class docs; I don't see that event listed, afterSelectionChanged.
What's going on here? Are the sample scripts OOD or is the OMV OOD? Or, again, am I digging in the wrong place?
That example script works fine for me. What happens when you try it? It should put up an annoying message every time you do something.
Regardless of what the OMV might or might not say, you can attach an afterSelectionChanged event to the document. Not only that, this is exactly the event you're looking for.
Did you ever find documentation on the event model? I am running into a problem which such documentation would be helpful. In my case I am trying to force a change to an indd file on beforeSave. However the changes are not reflected in the file's preview thumbnail image (which was the goal).
I have looked high and low but can not find any docs on the ordering of events firing and how they relate to other functions. Apparently the preview image is not generated during Save().
The docs at http://jongware.mit.edu/idcs5/ is nice and convienent, but it is not much more data there than you find in the toolkit.
