There was a solution along these lines posted earlier, but I
wanted to raise the question again regarding the Sound Transform
function in .as files.
Below is my .as code for my button class. When you roll over
a button it grows and makes a noise.
I'm trying to lower the volume of the "blip.mp3" via
SoundTransform, but something is amiss.
-I based my code on info I extrapolated from the AS3 help
files. I tried setting the volume to .2 in my constructor function,
but it doesn't seem to be working.
Am I using the SoundTransform function improperly? -I'm still
very much a novice at OOP.
your sound's play() method is a soundchannel instance. and
that soundchannel instance has a soundTransform property. and that
soundTransform property has a volume property that you use to set
the volume of your sound.
