Trouble installing Flash Player

When I try to install flash player, at the 30-50% point it tells me to close down internet explorer to continue, so I do. Then it continues to tell me to close down IE even after it is already closed and will not start installing again.

You need to close all iexplore.exe instances, even if they are running in the background.  Use the Task Manager's Processes tab.
