Why must you open a project file in principle to re-enter the unlock key?
When you register and activate it SHOULD be a one time operation, so you do not have to enter the Premiere Elements serial number again
But, my answer is only if I understand your question, based on translation
Thank you for trying to help me. But the “Google-translation” was in fact not correct, and my problem is still not solved.
Adobe PreE 11 wants a MPEG-component to render a project. The serial number is shown. I have to copy the number and enter it on WEB page “ http://www.adobe.com/go/premiereel_encoder “
The page is called “Adobe encoder activation.” Now the code is generated. I have this code which has the following format: xxxx-xxxx”. After entering this code in the Premiere-programme the MPEG component is opened and the rendering process starts.
My problem is that this procedure has to be repeated every time when I want to open or render a project. This has to be confirmed twice by me as administrator. Constantly having to repeat this procedure is quite a nuisance.
Hi, John T Smith
Thanks again for your reply. After reading your message, I came to the conclusion that I had to be the cause of the problem. Checking my account, I found out that I am registered with three different programs in action:
- Photoshop Elements 7
- Photoshop Elements 9
- Photoshop Elements 11 plus Premiere Elements 11.
It might be possible that Premiere 11, wanting to open a file, asks which of the three programs I want to work with!? Can you give me a clue how to delete Photoshop 7 and Photoshop 9?
PS: That´s all not so easy for a non-native.
