    CS6 video card assistance

I apologize if this has been covered but since the video card in question is new I thought I'd give the forum a shot.

I use CS6 (Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects) at work and built a home computer to keep up with the workflow. It is outfitted with Win7 64, an i7-2600K, 16GB of ram, Raid for the OS and programs and a dedicated drive for video and related Adobe files. The machine runs fine but I need a video card. I do not play games.

I realize there is a certified list of cards available from Adobe but is dropping $400 really necessary?  Does anyone have experience with the new EVGA GTX 650 Ti Boost or the older EVGA 660 Ti? Is jumping to the 660 a major leap and worth it for CS6? In a perfect world I'd like to stay in the $250 range.

      Thank you for the assistance.
