1. Re: how do i apply a transition in one go in a slide show
the_wine_snob Apr 11, 2013 12:42 PM (in response to dannymac088)If you have all of your Still Images on the Timeline, as you want them, just Select them (you can "lasso" them with the Cursor), then Rt-click, and choose Apply Default Transition. I would first verify that you have set the Default Transition to what you will want.
Good luck, and welcome to the forum.

the_wine_snob Apr 11, 2013 1:27 PM (in response to dannymac088)OK, and thanks for that.
I cannot recall when the Apply Default Transition was added, but I think that it was PrE 9. Maybe some PrE historian will correct me, if that is wrong.
Before that function was added, the only way that I know of to apply a Transition is by the drag-n-drop on the junction of the Clips/Stills. I do not think that there was a keyboard shortcut, like in PrPro, where one could move the CTI to the junction of the Clips/Stills, and hit Ctrl+D.
Sounds like your eyesight is fine, but the version just did not yet support that function.
Good luck, and maybe others will know a quicker way to do it.

7. Re: how do i apply a transition in one go in a slide show
the_wine_snob Apr 11, 2013 1:51 PM (in response to dannymac088)I feel your pain. Even with the Ctrl+D (in PrPro), I had a Project with 3000+ Still Images, that required a Cross-Dissolve between each Still Image. I ended up with a cramp in my left hand, from doing all those Ctrl+D's, and then PageUp to move the CTI. Luckily, newer versions of both PrE and PrPro have the Apply Default Transition function added.
Good luck, and happy editing,
