ryclark Apr 11, 2013 3:25 PM (in response to texber2012)In CS6 it is Auto Heal in the Favorites menu. But can't remember if it is the same in CS5.5. Or in the Spectral view you have the Spot Healing Brush tool.

SteveG(AudioMasters) Apr 12, 2013 3:36 AM (in response to texber2012)I can't remember what happens in 5.5 either...
But you have to bear in mind that 5.5 was a 'proof of concept' release where a lot of stuff wasn't implemented - quite deliberately, due to time constraints. This has been discussed ad nauseum before, and I'm not going over that again - but I will say that the upgrade to 6.0 is well worth it - you get a lot more features available to you.

_durin_ Apr 12, 2013 1:17 PM (in response to ryclark)"Auto Heal" is equivalent to "Repair Transient" and is available in the Audition CS5.5 Favorites menu. And the Spot Healing Brush was also available in CS5.5.

texber2012 Apr 15, 2013 2:46 PM (in response to _durin_)Thanks to everyone for the help. I have used "Auto Heal," but on occasion some weird audio remains, which requires further fix. I have found it somewhat difficult to eliminate coughs, which was rather easy with earlier versions. But, I'm sure with further use I will get more proficient with the more recent Audition versions.
