Unable to download Animate. When logged in as Admin into the Creative Cloud’s Apps & Services page, I get no response when I click “Download” for Edge Animate. I have no other installation of Animate on my system. I’m running Windows 8 under Chrome and have installed Edge Reflow, Code, and Inspect under Chrome with no issue. Each one links to its respective html code path (i.e. for Reflow its https://creative.adobe.com/resources/edgereflow/Adobe Edge Reflow Preview.msi). When I hover over the download button for Animate, it returns aam:SAPCode=EDGE which looks like a database query. I’ve also tried to install under IE Window 8, but there doesn’t exist an app in the Windows 8 world for aam.
I am on Windows 8, through a virtual machine.
Here is the link.
It is no longer in preview version, so you have to download the application manager and install from there.
Also, the link that you provided, downloads fine through IE on Win8 as well.
You have to have a 64-Bit system in order to install it.
Thank you Wayne, your link worked perfectly!
Adobe, like all product developers, should ensure the environment is in the correct form and all dependencies are accounted for before installation begins (and even during each launch of the application). No error code should be produced without a resolution or a linkage to a solution.
