From the installer info:
Current Flash Player desktop users that have enrolled in either the "Allow Adobe to install updates (recommended)" or "Notify me to install updates" update options will receive an update notification dialog within 7 days from today (please note that Windows users will need to restart their system to receive the notification dialog.)
Under Flash 11.6 this function works for non-admins users but with the update to 11.7 non admin users get an popup message to install, but they have no rights. So what is the function
of "Allow Adobe to install updates" ?????
Is this a bug? or a new feature?
any idea how to solve this?
Selecting "Allow Adobe to install updates" option enables your system to download and install updates automatically. This recommended option provides the best protection for your system as the update happens backend and you are always on with the latest version. Hope the above info helps.
Do you read the problem? the option "Allow Adobe to install updates" is on but non-admin users get an pop screen that there is an update for Flash but they cant install it because there are no admin users. Under Flash 10.6 this works but it seems that the update to 11.7 an administrator is needed.
