hi i am trying to download the updated flashplayer however everytime i enter my password it stall at that point. I have created a new ac with adobe and even that make no difference aghhhhh

What password?  You do not require a password to download or install Flash Player, except you may need your computer's admin password.

While installing Flash Player on Mac, it asks for user ID and password.

It's the user ID and password using which you login to the Mac machine.
