Skip the ADE step and go straight to the Nook library

    bickervs

I have a Sony reader that allows me download books from the library directly to my Sony library without the ADE step.  I just purchased a Nook for my mother and it is requiring me to go through the ADE step every time and then drag to the Nook.  Is there a way I can have the downloads go straight to the Nook?

When you say your Sony library, do you mean the library in Sony Reader software on the PC/Mac,

or do you mean the library on the device itself?

          Which Sony?

If it is a Nook tablet, try installing the Overdrive app.

If it is a Nook eReader you may well find you need to go via ADE.

On my older Sony PRS-350 I need to go via the PC:  either via Sony Reader software or via ADE.

I choose ADE, as that also supports other eReader devices such as my old Bookeen.
