    ADE error - Check Activation


      I've been using ADE for downloading library books for some time but recently had work done on my computer.  Now ADE gives me a message "error - check activation" every time I try to download.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled ADE but the problem persists.  I am able to open ADE but not download.  The program indicates my computer is authorized.  I'm running Windows XP.  Any suggestions?


      Message was edited by: sahbooklook Thanks to previous discussions I was able to solve my problem by deauthorizing my ADE with (ctrl-shift-D) and then re-authorizing my ADE.  Thanks everyone for their input.
