Adobe offsets the ongoing development costs of Flash Player, which is made available for free, by offering users the option to download software from select Adobe partners. I understand that this is a controversial change for some users and I'll make sure to represent your concerns to our management team.
The simplest and most straight forward alternative is to uncheck the checkbox. It’s an opt out situation, not opt in and I also understand your position on that.
In the future just download the installers without DLM and bundled software from : http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html
You can also fill the Adobe Wish Form to voice your concern to directly reach the development team : https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
Hello, and thanks for coming back so quickly on my question. I clearly understand Adobes point regarding dev cost, but I would agree more with them asking for donations than nudging users into additional third party software installations. I know that this is controversial and thank you for representing my concerns especially as i feel I'm not the only one with my opinion on the matter. Thank you for hinting me to the distribution download as an alternative instead.

You should also understand that the technical staff manning these forums have no influence over Adobe's policy regarding bundled 3rd-party software.
Just try to download using your instructions, still did not work.
What exactly means "not work"?
