I have a project in Final Cut Pro 7 that was shot and edited at 1440 x 1080i. I want to export as a Quicktime movie so I can put it in Premiere Pro, Add Encore Chpter Markers, Export Media to Media Encoder, encode it, and put it in Encore and make a Blu-Ray DVD out of it.
Should I export it out of Final Cut Pro as a Quicktime Movie with Current Settings or a Quicktime Reference File with Current Settings?
I want the file to be Lossless.
PPro CS 5.5
Media Encore 5.5
I don't know if PP can work with reference files, so I'd suggest a ProRes export. It's not technically lossless, but you probably won't notice any quality loss.
