    How does browser recognize a newer version of swf file?

      I am having a problem where the browser is not loading the newest version of my swf file. I have added the following meta tags but it still looks like the browser is caching my swf file.

      <META HTTP-EQUIV="Expires" CONTENT="Mon, 04 Dec 1999 21:29:02 GMT">
      <meta http-equiv="Cache-Control" CONTENT="no-cache">
      <meta http-equiv="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache">

      When I publish a new swf file, how can I force the browser to get the newest version of the swf file andf not render the old version that has been removed or overlayed?
