Go back to http://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere
In the box under ASK A QUESTION type in
You may now read all the previous discussions of your error... be sure to click the See More Results at the bottom of the initial, short list if the initial list does not answer your question
I find a solution
I put the clip in Sony Vegas Pro 12 and i rendered it to wmw. Than I put the rendered clip in Premie Pro and it doesn't crash!
I have another question ... Why doesn't Premie Pro read dxtory codec?
Adobe targets video professionals with Premiere Pro. That means support for most of the formats used in video cameras. But it also means no or limited support for delivery formats. Often support for those esoteric delivery codecs can be found in more consumer applications, like PE, WMM, Magix or Pinnacle.
A couple of months ago, I had never heard of the Dxtory CODEC, and then suddenly, many people were having issues with it, and especially on Adobe NLE's. For some reading, go to the Premiere Elements Forum, and use the Search function (Ask a Question), type in "dxtory," without the quotes. When you get the first screen, choose More Like This (or similar syntax), then read. I think that John T. has already given you some links above, but there are quite a few more.
There are also threads on many other forums, regarding problems with the Dxtory CODEC and editing. I still do not know much about it, but since so many are having issues editing it, I would shy away.
Also in the PrElements forum, Steve Grisetti has said that he uses Camtasia to create his online tutorials
I don't do screen captures, but if Steve recommends Camtasia, that is what I would use
Steve writes Premiere Elements books http://www.amazon.com/Muvipix-Guide-Premiere-Elements-version/dp/1479311200/ is his latest
I don't use camtasia because i record video games and camtasia is made to record the desktop
But...when you play the game, it's fullscreened on the desktop, no?
fullscreen .. i try to record it with camtasia but the output isn't good. So i try dxtory and i saw that the output is very good!
But you can't edit it, so...
