I have the following scenario and I am wondering if there is a script that could do the job for me. I have a number of pdf files that I receive from my contractors and my engineer have to review & sign them. The documents I receive are multi-page pdf and after review & signature I scan only the cover page of the document and replace it in the originally received pdf manually by doing "Page Replace".
The script should open the original file, replace page 1 of x with page 1 of 1 from the scanned file. The scanned pdf filename has the same filename of the original pdf with the suffix "_SIGNOFF" . All files are located in the same directory.
I am using Adobe Acrobat X Pro on windows 7 professional.
Appreciate your help,
I´m terribly sorry I don´t have an answer, but more or less the same problem.
I´ve been searching for a very long time and was never able to batch or automaticly link replace pages with files with the same name or another preditermined code with excell, indesign or script.
Would be awesome if someone could help!
This can be done with a custom-made script. It's not a trivial task and the details depend a lot on your setup.
If you're interested in someone creating such a script for you (for a fee), feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
