I'm having a problem with Premiere Pro. My Sony Camera HDR-XR150 records in .MTS format!
When I try to import my video to Premiere Pro it doesn't play the audio.
How can I solve this?
(I know the audio was recorded, because i've tested it in normal players as WMP)
Make sure you copy the entire folder structure from the camera's memory card to your hard drive, and then use Pr's Media Browser to import the video clips.
Also be sure you let the conforming process complete

I've tested it with other players, so yes, it has the audio, but Premiere Pro is not playing it... he shows only the video layer, the audio doesn't even appear.
Did you exactly follow the instructions Jeff described in post #1?
Yes, I'm doing exactly what Jeff justa said.
Can you see the waveform? Do the meters move? Do other kinds of media generate sound? Are you trying to play 5.1 clips through stereo speakers?
Hello, Jim! I can not see the waveform... the audio don't even apear on my timelime. However, the video line does show up itself in the time line...
Try a quick test with a brand new, empty project. Report back.
